About Us......

The Silent Service Motorcycle Club was formed by and primarily for United States Navy submariners and is intended to promote good will and to help preserve the proud heritage of the United States Submarine Service by literally taking our show "out on the open road."

We are a family-oriented, non-territorial club and strong supporters of the United States Armed Forces.

The Silent Service Motorcycle Club: Sub City Chapter is dedicated to supporting homeless veterans and their families in Connecticut, and children's causes throughout the state and country, while also enjoying group camaraderie and the love of motorcycles.

Full Member: Available to those serving or having served in the United States Navy and have been designated as "qualified in submarines."  Own a motorcycle with an engine displacement of 500cc or more.

We gladly accept Associate Members sponsored by a Full Member in good standing.

We hold an annual Poker Run Benefit to raise money which we donate to worthy causes and charities which have included: New London Homeless Veterans Shelter, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and Devyn's Charm.

Chapter meetings are held the first Thursday of every month at 1830, (yes, we still use military time...some habits are hard to break!!!) at the SUBVETS Clubhouse located at 40 School Street in Groton.
